The Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) is Canada’s largest registered charity committed to sight saving research; contributing over $32M to leading edge eye research.
Reporting to the Communications Officer, you will play a key role in the execution of the communications strategy with a focus on digital media. You will have experience working with MailChimp, WordPress, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and Google analytics. You are knowledgeable about SEO and have experience working with different digital marketing tools (certifications are an asset). You are creative, dependable, accountable, and highly organized. You are production oriented, detailed, and deadline driven.
- Work with the communications and management team to plan, implement, and deliver digital and content marketing and communications strategies and programs that support FFB’s goals and strategic plan
- Three to five years’ digital communications experience, ideally in an “in-house” role within a small business environment and/or association. Knowledge and experience in the healthcare, non-profit sector is a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma and a combination of experience in one of the following areas: Communications, Public Relations, Media and Journalism, Marketing, or another relevant field.
